March in White - Enough with the Killing and Starvation
On Friday, June 6, on the first day of Eid al-Adha, we will demonstrate together and march towards the border with Gaza, dressed in white, carrying food in our hands, to say clearly: Enough! We cannot remain silent in the face of the suffering of two million people – and the abandonment of the hostages.
Eid al-Adha – a holiday based on values of giving, compassion, and responsibility towards others. In this spirit, we call for true solidarity, transcending fear and incitement, believing in every person's right to life and dignity.
The siege and hunger do not protect anyone. War does not bring security and does not return the hostages. It is time to raise a human, civic, and responsible voice – for the sake of stopping the bloodshed, breaking the siege, returning the hostages, and seeking a just and sustainable solution.
Gathering at Highway 232 at the turn towards the observation hill and marching to the Vermulen Forest.
Since there is effectively no way to bring food into the Gaza Strip, at the end of the march, the food will be delivered to refugees in the West Bank - who are also in a difficult situation, though not as dire as in Gaza - through "A Rabbinical Voice for Human Rights."
This is a call to everyone who believes in peace, justice, and shared living.
Please bring: flour, sugar, lentils, spaghetti, canola oil, baby food powder. Do not bring salt.
